The Ethnographic Museum in Paphos has only very recently been released as a wedding venue with ceremonies carried out in the charming grounds. Located in the Old Town of Paphos just minutes from the Town Hall, your civil or Catholic/ Anglican ceremony will be performed in the beautiful, private courtyard. Couples have the use of the venue for up to 1.5 hours using the courtyard for your ceremony and afterwards, you and your guests will have the run of the museum with the option of Champagne and Canapés in this delightful setting. Unlike any ordinary museum, the Ethnographic Museum, founded in 1958, is set in a private house which is still run today by the wife and daughter of the original founder – the renowned archaeologist George Eliades and demonstrates the typical lifestyle and customs of Cypriot people throughout history.
