It has been just a couple of months since myself and my husband got married at the beautiful Vasilias Nikoklis Inn.
September 2022, my now husband proposed to me in beautiful Paphos so it was only fitting to get married in Paphos. Searching for the right company was a breeze once I had found Cyprus Dream Weddings and fell in the hands of the awesome Kamile and what a blessing she was to bring my vision and dreams together. Kamile was always so prompt to emails and made me feel at ease a lot. We faced the challenge of different time zones as I am from the other side of the world New Zealand, so the late night communications on my end was a mission.
VENUE -I cannot praise enough how amazing the service at Vasilias was from the moment the wedding started they were awesome. Dinner service was amazing, I turn around and my glass is all of a sudden full again, always smiling and kind and caring. The food was to die for, the chef I hear is a master chef winner and was there to greet all of us at the buffe . Vasilias itself was awesome, we had a garden ceremony, my husband was worried that it was going to be to hot for our guest but with all the trees there was plenty shade and so cooling at the peak of summer .
PHOTO/VIDEO-our photographer and videographer were great and cannot wait to see the end product .
CAKE-cake was so yummy we had 3 tier and choose 3 different flavours - raspberry vanilla was my fav .
DJ- we all loved our DJ, he played exactly what we wanted and was always open to any request he was so easy to talk to and flexable as myself and my bridal team were the entertainment on the night. I am of polynesian decent and hubby african and we sure incorporated our cultures on the day with dance items etc our DJ approached me and said what a breath of fresh air to DJ our wedding as our main music was hip hop and RnB afrobeats and polynesian music he said it was good to have a change and he did amazing job for us .
ENTERTAINMENT -we had the sounds of a beautiful saxophone playing during cocktail hour - that pure sound sets the vibe and brought life to the party thats all I could hear in the background during photos
DECOR- I must shout out to Marry Me Cyprus who I choose to do my decor for both ceremony and reception.. They brought my vision together and presented my color pallet very well. I also booked Penelope their ice cream tricycle and I tell you its well worth it all the guest loved it .
To the best wedding planner any bride can ask for, thank you for all your work from the beginning to end. Kamile your time, your patience, your ideas, your kind caring and understanding, I could not have done this all the way on the other side of the world without you, thank you for everything
