We had our day @ Alassos on 4.08.23
It was everything we wanted and more!!! But we couldn’t have done it without this amazing lady Kerry Barker.
From the very first email, Kerry made us feel completely at ease. Over the last 3 years, nothing has ever been too much. Even emailing back in the early hours, because she was so busy with her then current brides. Kerry organised absolutely everything; the DJ, hair and make up, photographer, videographer, Greek dancers, cake, food, decor, flowers… the list is endless. And when I rocked up last week with a suitcase full of extra decorations, I knew Kerry would be able to pull it all together and I was right, the venue looked perfect!
On the actual wedding day, Kerry scheduled everything and everyone, which took the stress out of everything and meant I was able to enjoy getting ready. All I had to do was turn up at the right time.
I’m not good at goodbyes and Kerry has been a big part of our lives over the last 3 years so it has been emotional. However, we will be back to see you next year Kerry and I’ll make sure Curtis Crockett gets you a very large gin and tonic!!!!
Kerry, there will never be enough thank yous for everything you have done over the last 3 years.

Reading this reminded me that the best weddings are rarely about one perfect day, they’re about the people who quietly solve a hundred little problems long before anyone notices. It also made me think about how memories become tied to dates, and sometimes we even stop to ask what day is today because a special anniversary brings everything back. Stories like Rachel and Curtis's are a good reminder that behind every smooth celebration, there’s usually someone working tirelessly behind the scenes.
Reading this brought back a memory from my own family, where we thought the wedding day was the hardest part, but later realized the real magic comes from having someone quietly handling every little detail behind the scenes. Three years of planning is a long journey, and it really shows how much trust Kerry earned from you both. I love how Game Is Hard uses the phone's features. Had to tilt, shake, even point the camera at a color. Made me feel like a detective. Such a fun experience.
