Why did you choose to get married in Cyprus, and what made you choose your venue?

Cyprus made sense to us as we met here 7 years ago.  As we were looking for a nice rustic venue the Green Olive ticked all of the boxes for us.

How far in advance did you book your wedding?

It was just over a year.

How many guests joined you in Paphos for your wedding?

25 in total – an intimate wedding.

Tell us about your stunning dress, your shoes and accessories, and how long did it take you to find them?

Once we knew what we wanted, it actually took us only a few weeks to get everything!  My dress was the third one I tried on and I just knew that it is the right one!

Did you have a theme?

No, not really – the venue says a lot on its own.

Can you tell us about the finer details of the day, ie. Wedding Cake, Hairdresser, Photographer etc.

We had an amazing black forest cake with lots of fruit on top - it was amazing.

The hair and make up ladies were great, they made me feel so relaxed on the morning of the wedding and knew exactly what they were doing.

The photographer was really good too. He was so relaxed, and that made the whole experience really easy.

Harris the venue owner made us feel so welcome and the food he served was absolutely amazing.

What was the highlight of your day?

It is difficult for me to pick one part of my day as a highlight as it was just all truly amazing but the venue and the food are definitely up there.

How did you find the planning experience, from booking to the big day itself?

Although we were a bit apprehensive to start with, as the planning was done mainly via email, however it was really easy to work with our wedding planner and the communication was very clear.

What advice would you give to future brides and grooms who are getting married abroad?

Don't worry too much about it as the wedding planners are hands on and will make sure that everything goes smoothly.
